SW Coastal Walk
Blackgang to Yarmouth

A coastal walk along the exposed south west coastline from Blackgang including Chale, Grange, Brook, Freshwater Bay & The Needles continuing to finish at Yarmouth - in essence Stages 2 & 3 of the Coastal Path walked in reverse

  Weather: Sunshine with a slight breeze clouding over late afternoon with occasional spots of rain
  Time: 7¼ hours
  Terrain: Distinct paths along the cliff top - extreme caution required particularly between Blackgang & Shepherd's Chine

  Grade: Moderate
  Parking: Park free in the viewpoint car park overlooking Blackgang Chine (GR: SZ 490-767)
Return transport from Yarmouth will be required
  Nearest Towns: Ventnor in the east,  Freshwater & Yarmouth in the west
  Refreshments: Various in Freshwater Bay & Alum Bay, Cafes & pubs in Yarmouth
