Yarmouth to Ryde

A coastal walk along the northern coastline from Yamouth including Shalfleet, Porchfield, Gurnard, Cowes, East Cowes, Whippingham, Wootton & Fishbourne finishing at Ryde - in essence Stages 1 & 6 of the Coastal Path walked in reverse

  Terrain: Good paths between Yarmouth Shalfleet, road walking between Shalfleet & Porchfield although there are short sections where footpaths can be used and inland pavements & roads (the section between Gurnard & Ryde is virtually void of paths)

  Parking: Use the car park at Yarmouth (GR: SZ 354-895) return by No.9 from Ryde to Newport & No.7 to Yarmouth
  Nearest Towns: Yarmouth, Cowes, East Cowes & Ryde
  Refreshments: Various in Yarmouth, Cowes & Ryde - pubs in Porchfield, Wootton & Fishbourne
