Ryde to Blackgang

A coastal walk along the south eastern coastline from Ryde including Seaview, St Helens, Bembridge, Sandown, Shanklin, Luccombe & Ventnor finishing at Blackgang - in essence Stages 5 & 4 of the Coastal Path walked in reverse

  Weather: Sunshine & clear skies, with a slight breeze, clouding over midday
  Time: 8½ hours
  Terrain: Pavement walking between Ryde & Seaview, Yaverland & Luccombe and Bonchurch & Ventnor; elsewhere, paths are distinct although there is a diversion still in place between the Crab & Lobster, Bembridge along the cliff in the direction of Culver

  Parking: Pay car park at Ryde (GR: SZ 596-929) return transport required
