Bus Coastal Walk
Stage 3 - Ryde to East Cowes

Walks by bus - A walk starting from Ryde following the Coastal Path through Binstead, Fishbourne, Wootton Bridge and Whippingham to East Cowes

  Distance: 8 miles approx
  Weather: Wet morning becoming sunny with a strong westerly wind
  Time: 3 hours - all photographs taken between 12:00 & 15:00
  Terrain: Mainly on pavements and roads with one section through woods and along a gravel path
  Stiles: 0
  Grade: Moderate
  Parking: Park in Newport, then catch the No.9 bus to Ryde, returning by No.5 to Newport or park in Ryde & catch the No.4 bus back to Ryde
  Nearest Towns: Ryde
  Refreshments: Various - Ryde, The Fishbourne Inn - Fishbourne, The Sloop - Wootton Bridge
  Toilets: Public toilets at Ryde
